Hi, I’m taylar.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, I am rooted in advancing women’s health, clinical excellence, and nursing education. I hold both a BSN and MSN and am board certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. I also maintain SANE-A and SANE-P certifications, as well as my BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS. I am a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a graduate with a 4.0 GPA.
Currently, I work as an OB/GYN Hospitalist at a Level II Trauma University Hospital where I care for both low and high risk patient populations. I also work as a forensic examiner. In these roles, I have the honor to serve as an educator for medical students, resident physicians, nursing students, nurse-midwifery students, and nurse practioner students.
Beyond clinical practice, I am actively engaged in professional leadership and development through the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) serving on the Test Development Task Force for the IPV-C certification and as Chair of the Reproductive Health Task Force.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and professional growth. Through Beyond Boards, I combine my clinical expertise, teaching experience, and leadership in forensic and reproductive health to help nurses and future providers succeed with clarity and confidence.

I believe that every learner brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals and that effective education meets students where they are. Drawing on my background as a clinician, educator, and mentor, I emphasize critical thinking, application of evidence-based practice, and confidence-building. Together, we focus not just on passing exams, but on developing the deeper understanding and judgment that define an exceptional nurse and provider.
